De fondsen van de stichting zijn afkomstig van particuliere donateurs die &#8220;het boek&#8221; een warm hart toedragen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Geschiedenis<\/h2>\n<p>De Stichting Boek &amp; Wurm is een vervolg op het Atlasfonds. Dit fonds is in 2002 van start gegaan en heeft gedurende vijf jaar een groot boekrestauratieproject gesubsidieerd bij Museum Meermanno in Den Haag. In 2008 heeft Boek &amp; Wurm-in-wording de restauratie van een groot aantal boeken en papyri ondersteund bij de <a href=\"https:\/\/boek-en-wurm.nl\/index.php\/projecten\/universiteitbibliotheek-groningen\/\">Universiteitsbibliotheek Groningen<\/a>. In 2010 is de Stichting Boek &amp; Wurm definitief opgericht.<\/p>\n<h2>Achtergrond van de stichting<\/h2>\n<p>De stichting Boek &amp; Wurm werkt met particuliere fondsen, schenkingen uit kringen die vermogen hebben opgebouwd met het uitgeven van boeken en het boek een warm hart toedragen.<\/p>\n<h2>Doel<\/h2>\n<p>Het doel van de stichting is het mogelijk maken van conservering en restauratie van boek en werken op papier, perkament en papyrus, die boektechnisch, wetenschappelijk, kunstzinnig, historisch of anderszins van belang zijn.<\/p>\n<h2>Doelgroep<\/h2>\n<p>De doelgroep bestaat uit bibliotheken, musea, archieven, overheidscollecties en stichtingen op gebied van cultureel erfgoed. Enerzijds verwelkomt zij aanvragen van beheerders van waardevolle collecties.
